The Plan

RampUp

Universal Community

Over the next three years, TAC will enhance our current RampUp opportunities, add additional inclusive recreation sites throughout greater Milwaukee, and transform Wauwatosa’s, Wisconsin Avenue Park into the country’s most universal park.

Open Gym

Adaptive Programs

Studies around the country show us that when students with disABILITIES participate in adaptive sports they are 50-90% more likely to participate in post-secondary education &/or meaningful employment. Our goal is to add an ASAP Program Director, serve 85 schools, 18,000 students, & identify 175 adaptive student athletes.

ASAP

Inclusive Education

Based on the tremendous success
our Adaptive Programs –Prepandemic, The Ability Center had identified new community partners hoping to host our Open Gyms. Partners like the UCC & COA, along with the JCC & YMCA were looking to add dates. We plan to pick up that torch once again, but cannot do so without additional staff!
